Irvington


Majestic Portland homes, beautifully manicured lawns and massive older trees line wide streets in Irvington, just minutes northeast of downtown Portland. This area is rich in history with about 85 percent of the houses and structures constructed between 1890 and 1948. Irvington was named after Captain William Irving, originally from Scotland.
